We preserve, practice, and share Universal Shamanism – a spiritual path of respect for ecology, the sacredness of life, and the expansion of consciousness, rooted in ancestral and natural wisdom. This path supports wellness in its fullest sense: social, emotional, and spiritual.
Through spiritual practice and community wellness, we offer sacred ceremonies, prayer, and the teachings of the sacramental path of traditional medicines as a manifestation of peace, justice, and universal harmony.
Through education, learning, and shared inquiry, we provide courses, training, and publications on shamanic practices, ancestral knowledge, and the sacred spiritual traditions associated with traditional medicines. We document traditional wisdom, educate with reverence, and share safety practices rooted in respect.
Through cultural and ecological stewardship, we stand for Mother Earth. We support Indigenous rights, defend the forests, honour the guardians, and walk gently on this land.
We welcome all who feel the call. Every background, nation, ethnicity, gender, and creed is honoured here.
Love heals and wisdom enlightens.
Blessed be the sons and daughters of faith.

IAUSH Canada exists to facilitate access to spirituality, promote self-knowledge, and contribute to social and environmental harmony. We act in the pursuit of just, sustainable, and respectful coexistence, with the goal of positively impacting the preservation of nature, integrated with spirituality and social responsibility.
In sacred service to the Great Spirit, the ancestors, and all our relations.
These are the living hearts at the centre of our circle.
Respect for All Life – We bow to every form of life, from the smallest stone to the tallest tree, and listen for the sacred in all things.
Love and Compassion Without Borders – We love beyond culture, beyond nation, beyond belief, so that the spiritual union of humanity may grow.
Care for the Earth as Sacred Responsibility – The Earth is not a resource but a living being, our first teacher, our oldest ancestor.
Justice and Non-Violence – We stand against all forms of violence, corruption, and injustice, building a container that is safe, equitable, and free from harm.
Inclusion and Diversity – We honour the dignity of women, Indigenous peoples, Black communities, sexual diversities, and all minorities, for the circle is only whole when everyone has a seat.
Expanded States of Consciousness – Through sacred songs, power plants, and prayer, we open the door to the invisible and remember we are part of the Great Mystery.
These are our vows. This is our way. For all our relations. Haux haux.
Universal Shamanism was idealized and developed by Léo Artese, Lifetime Guardian Councilor of IAUSH. A spiritual leader, musician, and visionary, Léo has dedicated his life to building bridges between ancestral traditions and the needs of the modern world. His work is not about power but about service—to the spirits, to the plants, to the circle. He carries the prayers of many peoples and sings with a voice that opens the sky. IAUSH Canada is blessed to walk under his guidance and protection. We honour him as our teacher, our elder, and our brother on the path.
Universal Shamanism, idealized and developed by Léo Artese, Guardian Councilor of IAUSH, constitutes a philosophical-spiritual system of respect for ecology, the sacredness of life, and the expansion of consciousness, fundamental pillars for the harmonious coexistence between individuals and the environment, rooted in ancestral and natural wisdom.
It proposes the appreciation, recovery, and use of instruments, practices, and rituals that connect the human being to the sacred, strengthening the bonds between all beings and the cosmos, from stones and winds to plants and animals to the natural cycles of the celestial bodies.
In consonance with the fundamental rights to freedom of belief and human dignity, Universal Shamanism propagates the path of entheogenic plants, in the manifestation of a path of peace, justice, and universal harmony, promoting spiritual interdependence, socio-environmental progress as foundations for a compassionate and sustainable relationship between humanity and nature.
